CY2027, Starting in January, Is Now Available!

CHRONOGRAPHY now comes in CY2027, a January-start edition — the third season after FY (April start) and AY (September start). The 2027 editions add three tools to the Guide page and a redesigned Yearly page.

CY2027

January 1 – December 31, 2027. 432 pages. Six cover colors, Monday or Sunday start, and two editions: JPN (with Japanese public holidays) and Global (no country-specific holidays).

Redesigned Yearly Page

Months now run across and dates down. Each day has more room, so it’s easier to place label stickers and connect them with lines to show a period.

File Size and Links

Each file is about 2.5 MB, so every type can be tried with the free version of Goodnotes. (Based on Goodnotes’ specifications as of October 16, 2026.)

Links are now set for each date, more than 9,000 in all.

Other Seasons

FY2027 (April start) is coming soon. AY2026-2027 (September start) is available now; it follows the previous specification, so its Yearly page design and Guide tools are different.

Goodnotes Free Version

With this optimization, Weekly Horizontal and Weekly Vertical are now 5 MB or smaller, so you can try them with the free version of Goodnotes. (Based on Goodnotes’ specifications as of October 16, 2026.)

How to Update

If you’ve already purchased KotaLog Diary 2027, you’ll receive an email with a download link to the updated files.

Simply download the latest version using the link provided in the email.

Important Note

This update only optimizes the file size. There are no changes to the design or functionality, and you can continue using your existing files without any issues.

If you’ve already started using your planner in Goodnotes or another note-taking app, your existing notes and handwriting will not be automatically transferred to the updated file. You can switch to the updated version whenever you prefer.

About File Sizes

The sizes listed are the sizes of the PDF files when downloaded. After you import a file into Goodnotes or another note-taking app, its size may change because the app processes and stores the PDF.

Re-saving the PDF in apps such as Apple’s Preview may also increase the file size significantly. To keep the file small, import the downloaded PDF into your note-taking app as is whenever possible.
